About Jessica
An advocate who speaks the language of medicine — and understands the family reading it at midnight.
Patient advocacy shaped by clinical experience, holistic nursing, and deep respect for your voice.
I'm Jessica Holder, a registered nurse with 13 years of clinical experience across geriatric care, orthopedics, women's health, and birth care. I founded TEEK Advocacy to help patients and families feel less alone inside complicated healthcare systems.
I know how quickly medical language, competing priorities, and unanswered questions can overwhelm a family. My role is to slow the situation down, understand the whole picture, and help you find the questions and next steps that matter most.
As a Registered Nurse with 13 years of clinical experience and a certified hypnotherapist, I look at the whole human being and the entire family ecosystem. I know the clinical language the doctors speak, but I also know the silent panic a family experiences behind closed doors. Having walked through the long, complex journeys of end-of-life care, estate systems, and mental health struggles within my own family, I built TEEK Advocacy to be the bridge between logic and soul.
We provide the clear-headed, strategic, behind-the-scenes problem-solving you need to negotiate complex systems — and the grounded, trauma-informed care your nervous system requires to survive them.
Sometimes the patient reaches out. Often, it is a spouse, adult child, sibling, or close friend carrying the schedule, making calls, and trying to keep everyone informed. I welcome both. The patient's preferences and consent stay central, while family supporters receive the structure they need to help well.
My approach is grounded in holistic nursing: care is not only a diagnosis or a list of tasks. It includes the person's values, relationships, stress response, daily reality, and innate capacity to adapt and heal.
I'm also an NGH Certified Hypnotherapist, ICEA-trained childbirth educator, YogaFit certified teacher, and trained in 100-hour Yoga for Warriors. Hypnotherapy and nervous-system support remain separate wellness services and may complement advocacy when appropriate.
Outside this work, I'm a mother of four who recharges through yoga, nature, dancing, and travel. Those parts of my life keep me grounded in what care is ultimately for: helping people stay connected to themselves and to one another.
